Slate’s Emily Yoffe, aka Dear Prudence, doles out advice on all sorts of random whatnot. Sometimes she nails it. Other times she’s woefully bad at helping the folks who write her. Such is the nature of being asked for advice and having no particular training to do so.
Her column this week argues that the pragmatic approach to preventing sexual assault among college students is to discourage young women from drinking. UHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
Why is that bad advice? Well, I’ma tell ya.
