Brettzo the Boylesque Wonder

First off: yes, that’s BOYlesque. brettzo

Burlesque’s origins are in comedy, with the word ‘burla’ literally translating to ‘joke.’ Over the decades, its meaning has morphed to mean ‘sexy striptease.’ Boylesque pays homage to both, playing with gender expectations to present a performance that will provoke both your sense of humor and your naughty bits.

I sat down with Philadelphia’s premiere Boylesque performer, Brettzo, to talk about how he got into taking off his clothes in front of crowds of strangers, how his performances affect his sex life, favorite acts and how the world treats a male burlesque performer… among other things.
