AIDS Education Month Means Cool and FREE Stuff

Since 1990, Philadelphia FIGHT has been leading the nation in care, education and research around HIV and AIDS. Their list of services and accomplishments is super impressive and they work with all types of people: from kids to felons, folks at risk of contracting HIV and those who already have. While they do this work year round, based out of their offices at 13th and Locust (don’t get confused by Google Maps’s idiocy), the month of June is an especially big deal.

aids education monthI met with Chip Alfred, Manager of Communications (among many other things) for FIGHT, to talk about all awesome (and FREE) events going on this June for AIDS Education Month, as well as the latest in HIV research and treatment.
