Does Your Relationship Need an App-Free Room?

ransomly.jpgWhen I first heard about Ransomly‘s “Space for Humanity” system- a beacon that blocks phone apps from working within proximity -as an option for improving relationships- I was skeptical, to say the least. In fact, my first thought was the potential for abuse by a controlling partner. So I chatted with creator Zack Prager who not only assuaged my fears but actually ended up selling me on the idea of a device that helps partners (and families, etc) un-plug from the world at large so they can focus on each other.

We have a great conversation about what science tells us about long-term relationships, social media effects and making space for being simply present.
