Most media depictions of polyamory are really limited. TV shows and newspaper articles tend to feature white, middle to upper class, conventionally cute, cisgender people who are now in a triad, after years of monogamy. The guys are straight, the women are bisexual. There are few examples for healthy poly relationships in general, especially ones that depict the great variety of folks engaging in consensual non-monogamy.
Enter: Kevin Patterson.
He’s been running the blog Poly Role Models for a few years now and he and his wife have been on our show before to talk about the good, the bad and the ugly of open relationships.
