Hey frans, it’s #TBT and time for a vintage podcast. This one originally went up in November of 2012.
You may recall that I posted about the sexuality training that I conducted with Widener University’s Residence Assistants. These young folks are on the front lines of dealing with the sexuality issues of college freshmen: directing them to everything from body image and safer sex resources to where to turn if they’ve experienced a sexual assault.
As a part of the presentation, the students took part in an activity where they were paired off with a random fellow RA to hash out a relationship contract. They pretended they were in a romantic relationship with the other person and negotiated the details of everything from where they would live, if/how many kids they would have and how often they would have sex and who would initiate. It’s the kind of conversations that every couple should have…. but often never happen in such a clear cut fashion. Both productive conversation and hilarity ensue.
