Hey friends, it’s #TBT and time for a vintage episode. This one originally went up in November of 2014.
Getting screened for sexually transmitted infections can be a daunting, expensive, time consuming chore. Most doctors don’t think to ask, although most sexually active adults are exposed to a variety of STIs. And while it shouldn’t be a big deal to ask to be tested, some folks find it a little embarrassing. Laura Ivanova and Ursula Hessenflow have come up with a solution with MyLabs, a discrete, at-home screening system you can use once, or regularly.
We chat about the prevalence of STIs, the importance (and freedom) of knowing your status and even the romantic possibilities of testing together.
